www.popcornandpen.com is an entertainment-based Web site of the Noblesville Daily Times and Westfield Times newspapers. The site is dedicated to providing Hamilton County with entertainment news and reviews.

Herrington, a 1999 Noblesville High School graduate, resides in Noblesville with his wife, Maggie, and their Boston Terrier, Yaz - named after Boston Red Sox great Carl Yastrzemski.
After graduating from NHS, Herrington went to Indiana State University where he studied journalism, specializing in photography, and worked on the school’s two publication staffs - IQ magazine and Indiana Statesman newspaper - along with fellow Daily Times staff member Steven Furlow.
In addition to serving as editor of the three-times a week newspaper, Herrington was the president of his fraternity (Pi Kappa Alpha) and president of the school’s IntraFraternal Counci (IFC) at Indiana State.
When he’s not covering all things entertainment, writing stories or taking pictures, Herrington enjoys watching sports - particularly the Red Sox.
