Thursday, July 17 (Offical Start of the 4-H Fair)
Extension Homemakers’ Special: Spaghetti and breadsticks
4-H Fair Office Hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Exhibit Buildings Open: 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Joint Producers’ Barbecue: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Dairy Producer’s Barbecue: 4 to 9 p.m.
n 8 a.m. – Open judging of Plant Science and Weeds in O.V. Winks Building.
n 8:30 a.m. – 4-H Collections judging in Exhibition Center Hall B.
n 9 a.m. – 4-H Bucket Calf Show in the Show Arena.
n 9 a.m. – Open judging of Strawberries in O.V. Winks Building.
n 9 to 11 a.m. – Sheep weigh-in at the Sheep Barn.
n 10 a.m. – 4-H Poultry Showmanship in Small Animal Barn. 4-H Poultry judging will begin immediately following Showmanship.
n 10 a.m. – Open judging of Crops (wheat, soybeans, corn and hay) at Crops Tent, west of Show Arena.
n 10:30 a.m. – 4-H Dairy Show in Show Arena. Heifers will be shown first, followed by steers.
n 11 a.m. – Youth Games, for ages 8 and under, in the 4-H Commons (food court).
n 11:30 a.m. – 4-H Beef Grooming Contest in Show Arena.
n 2:30 p.m. – 4-H Construction Sets judging in Exhibition Center Hall B.
n 4 to 9 p.m. – Extension Homemakers’ Flower Show open for viewing in Exhibition Center Hall B.
n 4 p.m. – 4-H Dog Obedience Show in the Show Arena and Llama Barn.
n 6 p.m. – 4-H Rabbit Ambassador Contest in the Small Animal Barn.
n 7 p.m. – 4-H Clogging Exhibition in Exhibition Center Hall A.

n 6:30 p.m. – Pet Parade at Rabbit Tent. All pets must leave the 4-H Grounds immediately following the parade and owners must bring proof of current rabies vaccination.
n 7 to 10 p.m. – Swine Check-out for all breeding stock not going to Livestock Auction or Carcass animals.

n 4 to 6 p.m. – State Fair information may be picked up in the Fair Office.

n 6 p.m. – Clean up inside the Exhibition Center.
