Canadian rock band Rush has delayed its show at Verizon Wireless Music Center, 12880 E. 146th St. in Noblesville, a month – moving its scheduled June 25 performance to July 24. Concert promoter Live Nation said “scheduling changes” caused the delay.
The band is currently promoting their latest album, Snakes & Arrows, with an intercontinental tour. The second leg of the tour began in San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 11, and is set to now finish on July 24 in Noblesville.
Rush originally formed in August 1968 and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994. The band has 24 gold records and 14 platinum (3 multi-platinum) records. These statistics place Rush fifth behind The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Kiss and Aerosmith for the most consecutive gold and platinum albums by a rock band. Overall, Rush has released 19 studio albums.
Tickets for the show can be purchased for $95.50 for lower pavilion, $65.50 for upper pavilion and $35.50 for the lawn. All tickets purchased for the June 25 show will be honored July 24. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
