Arguably one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Eric Clapton has announced his May 30 concert at Verizon Wireless Music Center, 12880 E. 146th in Noblesville. He will be joined by Robert Randolph & The Family Band.
Clapton is a Grammy Award-winning rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer. He has garnered three inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Yardbirds, Cream and as a solo artist.
Clapton has been making music since the Yardbirds first release in 1964. His numerous hits include “After Midnight,” “Tears in Heaven,” “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” “Lay Down Sally,” “Wonderful Tonight,” “Cocaine,” “Layla” and “Change the World.”
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets cost $175 for lower pavilion, $89.50 for upper pavilion and $38 for lawn seats.
Doors will open 6 p.m. and the show is set to start at 7:30 p.m. on May 30.
