Led by frontman and band namesake Chris Daughtry, famous from the FOX TV hit “American Idol,” Daughtry makes its Indiana State Fair Grandstand debut Saturday, Aug. 9.

Daughtry, the band’s debut album that is certified Double Platinum, has been a constant near the top of Billboard’s Top 200 albums since its release in November 2006. The album is fueled by smash hits “It’s Not Over,” “Feels Like Tonight,” “Home” and “Over You.”

Daughtry opened for Nickelback at Verizon Wireless Music Center, 12880 E. 146th St. in Noblesville, on July 20, 2007.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12. Prices are $39.50, $49.50 and $59.50, which includes State Fair admission.

Tickets will be available at the State Fairgrounds Box Office, the Indiana State Fair booth at the WFMS Country Music Expo and all Ticketmaster locations. They can also be purchased through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at (317) 239-5151 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
